Rain & wind

Changes how quickly drops fall. Caught drops return immediately. Reduced movement keeps drops still at every speed.

The stream is a soft synthesized water texture. Play either sound, or mix both. Rain and wind are real recordings. Sounds start only when you choose them.

A little space to pause

Move clouds with your finger or mouse. Tap them to move them aside, or use Tab, Enter and arrow keys. Choose Gentle for no lost progress, Challenge for changing weather, or Just watch for an automatic sky with no catching. Tap the sky for a soft ripple. After the rainbow, stay in the sunshine or play again. In the catching modes your goal is to catch at least 20 drops and restore all the sunlight to reveal a rainbow. Each catch adds light; each missed falling drop gently brings some storm back. Move the clouds aside to uncover the sun. Each catch adds a little warmth to the scene. A short synthesized birdsong plays with the rainbow; switch it off in Rain & wind. There is no countdown or game-over. Before you start, while a menu is open, or with reduced movement, drops cannot be missed. Once the rainbow appears, it stays for seven seconds then softly fades over three seconds. With reduced movement it disappears without animation after seven seconds. The sunny sky stays until you choose Play again. Open Rain & wind to choose a faster raindrop speed and mix the two sounds separately.
